IU Health Physicians Primary Care at IU Health North Hospital provides comprehensive primary care for adults and children. Our experienced team of family medicine and internal medicine physicians has worked together for several years and is well qualified to care for patients through every stage of life, from pediatric to adult care. In addition to general primary care services, our doctors focus on disease prevention and wellness, helping patients to live healthy lives.
Our practice has a close working relationship with medical specialists in a wide range of fields. In many cases, these specialists are located in our office building. Lab and radiology services also are conveniently located on site in the hospital. Our practice accepts a variety of insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. For the convenience of our patients, our office opens early most days and offers same day appointments.

Dr. Adkins specializes in caring for patients over age 16 and has a special interest in women’s health, preventive healthcare and diabetes. Dr. Adkins grew up in Indianapolis and previously practiced as an occupational therapist before pursuing her medical degree.
Dr. Ashabraner is accepting new patients of all ages. He has more than eight years of clinical experience and is a veteran of the US Air Force. He completed his Family Medicine residency while serving on active duty and later served as senior physician of the primary care clinic at Little Rock Air Force Base. His practice interests include pediatrics, preventive care and sports medicine.

Dr. Day Walz is board certified in internal medicine. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine and chronic disease management, including hypertension and high cholesterol. In her spare time, Dr. Day Walz enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. McLaren sees patients of all ages. He has a special interest in pediatrics, sports medicine and dermatology. In addition, he is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Patch is a family medicine physician with a special interest in preventive care, geriatrics and women's health. She chose family medicine as she loves the relationships she builds with her patients and enjoys helping her patients of all ages, live healthier lives. Outside of work, Dr. Patch enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter and the family dog, grilling and gardening.
