Riley Hospital is home to:

  • An internationally ranked ECMO program in the state's most comprehensive neonatal unit
  • The world's largest pediatric sleep disorders center
  • One of the nations largest autism treatment centers — The Christian Sarkine Autism Treatment Center
  • One of the most experienced pediatric orthopedic programs in the nation, with the state's only pediatric-based sports medicine program
  • One of the nation's largest pediatric residency programs and the only training site in Indiana for pediatric subspecialists
  • Indiana's only:
    • Nationally ranked pediatric heart and cancer programs
    • Robotic rehabilitation center for children with cerebral palsy and other movement disorders

Community Outreach

  • Riley Community Education and Child Advocacy helps families to prevent injuries to all children (including children with special needs) with child safety products and education through two first-in-the-nation programs — the Riley Safety Store and Safe Escape
  • Riley at IU Health provides Indiana's largest number of continuing medical education programs for physicians and other health care professionals
  • Riley at IU Health physicians staff the neonatal units at nine hospitals across Indiana
