Research suggests that children with developmental delays, including those in adoptive care situations, are at increased risk for social, emotional and behavioral concerns. These concerns can result in increased caregiver stress. That stress can significantly impact family function and negatively influence the child’s development and mental health.
The goal of our team is to offer needed services to a vulnerable population that might otherwise find themselves without support. Through our services, we foster and strengthen the caregiver-child relationship by providing education and therapy to address the various issues that can impact this important bond.
