Pediatric endocrinology is a pediatric subspecialty that focuses on endocrine disorders in children ranging from infants to teens. In addition to diabetes, this includes disorders that affect physical growth and sexual development.
The pediatric endocrinologists at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health are all board certified pediatricians who have received additional, subspecialty training in pediatric endocrinology (the study of the body’s endocrine system) and diabetology (the study of diabetes). With a large patient base, our endocrinologists are experienced in treating both common and uncommon conditions.
