Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health and the Indiana University Health Trauma Services department sees approximately 1,000 children each year with unintentional injuries, many of which occurred within the child’s own home. As a part of our commitment to providing pre-eminent care, Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health recognizes that injuries are a public health threat and prevention is the most effective method to reduce the incidence and prevalence of injuries.
