Education Programs

Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health and Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) are dedicated to training tomorrow’s pediatric physicians and preparing them for successful careers in medicine. Students will be part of the programs at IUSM, but much of their clinical training will take place within Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. Our partnership allows us to provide top-notch education for medical students, residents, fellows and practicing physicians. We also partner to provide a number of both clinical and basic science research.

Medical Students can expect a well-rounded education to finish out their third and fourth years that will prepare them to pursue pediatric residencies.

Residents are initiated into our clinical groups as integral members of the care team and have unlimited opportunities to experience and participate in the entire continuum of care.

Fellows have a unique opportunity to complete their formative training with our specialists who are leaders in their respective fields.

Researchers will be part of one of the strongest research programs in the country, recently further enhanced by the announcement of the Strategic Research Initiative.
