Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) provides clerkships for medical students in their third year and electives for medical students in their fourth year. Many of the clinical opportunities in pediatrics take place at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health where medical students will be immersed in all aspects of care for our youngest patients. Students will have opportunities to participate in the care of common medical conditions as well as some of the most complex or rare cases—opportunities that are not always available in one location.

In addition to the clinical experiences, students are encouraged to participate in conferences and student interest groups. Students also have the opportunity to participate in research.
