Block 6: Being Your Best

Feeling good about yourself or good self-esteem is maintained throughout a variety of areas in one's life. Just as we help you develop a plan for asthma management, exercise and eating right, we can help you set out a plan for how you will keep feeling good about yourself.

Block #6 Activity

Choose two of the areas in the outside of the circle and develop a plan for how you will be more involved. Then keep a list of the new things you are doing each month to help you feel better about yourself. Keep this list in your Riley Hospital for Children Stay Active in Life (SAIL) at Indiana University Health binder.

Examples:

Activity/Sport: Join a new team or start a new exercise

Volunteer: Spend some time each week/month helping out a good cause

Family: Volunteer to help out a relative or do some extra chores at home

School: Join a new club or volunteer to help out with a special project
