Riley Hospital at IU Health has a long history of serving Indiana children. Named after the famous Indiana poet, James Whitcomb Riley, the hospital opened in 1924. Indiana University Hospital and IU Health Methodist Hospital combine with Riley Hospital for Children to at IU Health to make up the Academic Health Center. Riley at IU Health is also affiliated with the Indiana University School of Medicine which trains the majority of Indiana physicians.

Each year Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health serves thousands of people from Indiana and the entire country. We strive to treat each one as an individual.
