Car Seats

Car seats are an essential part of ensuring the safety of your child. They protect children from injury in an accident. Indiana law requires that infants and children be restrained when riding in a car.

Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health has infant and toddler car seats for families who need them. They also have custom-designed seats for children who cannot use regular car seats. Please ask your nurse about how you can get a car seat if you do not already have one.
