Interns at the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research are provided extraordinary opportunities to participate in basic science and translational research opportunities in the Department of Pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Students in this program work with a faculty member in their area of interest for 10 weeks during the summer.
Students accepted into this program are given a unique opportunity to actively engage in the development of innovative treatments and methods for diagnosis. Areas of pediatric research include cancer, diabetes and disorders related to the hematopoietic, cardiac, immune and pulmonary systems.
