As part of the Riley General & Community Pediatrics at IU Health, the section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is comprised of general pediatricians specializing in the care of newborns and hospitalized children.
As faculty members of Indiana University School of Medicine, our team members provide the most advanced pediatric medicine in the field. They are experts in the care of inpatients, from the most common diagnosis to the most complex cases. Our hospitalists can focus solely on caring for children and families while in the hospital since they do not have private practices or other clinics outside the hospital.

In addition, the Hospitalist at Riley at IU Health improves continuity of care by ensuring you receive the details you need about your patient's admission in a timely manner. Waiting weeks for a dictated summary simply isn't acceptable. When your patient is discharged, you will receive a brief inpatient summary from the Hospitalist at Riley at IU Healh that includes the information you need to continue care. Then, you're prepared, whether follow up is the next day or the next month.
