We also have the only comprehensive pediatric surgical epilepsy program in Indiana.


Pediatric neurologists provide expert evaluation and management of childhood neurologic disorders. Riley Child Neurology at IU Health is the largest pediatric neurology group in Indiana, a member of IU Health Physicians and a section of IU School of Medicine. Our team has general and subspecialty centers with the disciplines necessary to treat multiple diseases in one location.


The pediatric neurosurgery team at Riley at IU Health consists of highly skilled and highly trained neurosurgeons. All are fellowship trained and board certified, which means they all received extra training in order to become pediatric neurosurgeons. Our team guides families from the anxiety of diagnosis through the process of surgery and recovery.

Our team of neurosurgeons treats children for a multitude of brain, spinal cord and nervous system conditions. Our surgical services include treatment of moyamoya disease, tethered spinal cord, seizures, spina bifida, cerebrovascular malformations, brain and spinal cord tumors, hydrocephalus, craniofacial malformations, trauma, congenital spine abnormalities, chiari malformations and spasticity.
