As part of a private, non-profit hospital system, we rely on your generosity and support to continue to provide hope in healing. Families from across the state and country depend on us for the highest level of care for their children, but our patients and families also depend on your philanthropic goodwill that makes it possible for us to provide this care.
There are many ways you can give to Riley Hospital for Children, whether it’s monetary or in-kind donations or through your time spent as a volunteer with us.
Help us make a difference by getting involved.
Voices From Riley
Voices from Riley is a unique collection of prayers from patients, families and caregivers at Riley Hospital, shared anonymously with the interfaith chapel at Riley. The book retails for $10 and 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated back to Riley Spiritual Care and Chaplaincy Services at IU Health.
Volunteer with Us
We offer a number of different volunteer opportunities within the main downtown Indianapolis location and at our location at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, IN. While volunteering, you will interact with our patients and their families, helping to make their stay in the hospital a little less difficult. Nearly anyone can volunteer with us in nearly any capacity. Learn more about specific opportunities and how to apply through our Volunteer Services.
Donate to Riley Children’s Foundation
Riley Children’s Foundation is committed to improving the health and well-being of children through philanthropic leadership in support of Riley Hospital for Children and its research programs. Learn how your donation can help us lead the way to secure the health and well-being of children everywhere by visiting rileykids.org.
Become a Family Advisor
Being a Family Advisor provides an opportunity for Riley Hospital families to get involved on their own terms because you can choose how and when to participate. You can share your story with other families who are beginning the same journey you have taken with your child. You can serve on committees within the hospital to help us improve our care. You can also help educate other families and our staff by ensuring that the educational materials we develop make sense and are useful. Learn more about these unique opportunities by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Donate to the Edward A. Block Family Library
Our family library exists thanks to donations from individuals, schools, organizations and businesses. Your donations help provide our patients with Accelerated Reader Books so they can stay current with their school work while they are in the hospital, provide entertainment and distraction with books, board games, Wii games, music and movies. Our library also has a section of books that can help patients and families cope with the emotional aspects of an illness. Find the donations guide and wish list by visiting the Edward A. Block Family Library.
