What is the $49 Heart Scan?

The heart scan will give you a clearer picture of your heart health. This is a quick test/scan that is done with same-day preliminary results.

The heart scan is a computed tomography (CT) scan that measures the amount of “calcified” or “hardened” plaque inside your coronary arteries. A rapid series of images inside your heart and blood vessels will be used to help determine if you have any early warnings for heart disease.

The cardiologist will review the scans.

You should consult with your primary physician to determine if the heart scan is right for you.

Some risks factors include:

  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Diabetes
  • Smoking
  • Obesity
  • Other vascular disease
