FACULTY DEVELOPMENT IN SIMULATION EDUCATION

Date: Nov. 15, 2016

Interprofessional faculty development focused on simulation education. Each session will be run by local simulation experts from IU School of Medicine, IU School of Nursing and IU Health and will target faculty interested in developing simulation-based educational content. Topics include: Developing a Scenario; Running a Simulation; Debriefing; and Assessment, Research and Sustainability.  Participants who complete the session will have an in-depth understanding of healthcare simulation. 

Each session will be hosted at the Simulation Center and will offer CME and CE.

INTRODUCTION TO SIMULATION EDUCATION

Date: January 2017 (final date TBA) at the Simulation Center

Join us for a hands-on opportunity to learn about clinical simulation and technology. The session is open to all faculty interested in simulation education and will include lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and a panel discussion.

Up to 3 hours of CME and CE will be available.

Throughout the year, the Simulation Center at Fairbanks Hall hosts and attends a number of events both in indianapolis and regionally throughout the greater Midwest and beyond. We are also pleased to participate and provide a list of many of the national and international simulation education meetings, conferences and workshops that happen throughout the year all around the world.
