Board certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Caughlin earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Indiana University Health Ball Hospital, and began practicing in 1980. He practiced 28 years in Indianapolis before moving to Bloomington in 2010.
He enjoys working with patients to provide individualized care and encourages healthy lifestyle choices.
He's married, has 3 adult children and is an avid cyclist and runner.
Board certified Family Medicine
Dr. Hartung received her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed a residency in family medicine at St. Joseph Hospital & Medical Center. Dr. Hartung served as chief resident during her residency and is now an associate clinical professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She has been practicing family medicine in Bloomington since 2008.
Board certified family and sports medicine
Dr. Niehaus is an Indiana native and a graduate of Indiana University. He is board certified in family and sports medicine. Dr. Niehaus is a graduate of Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, a University of Illinois program. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at Michigan State University.
Dr. Niehaus is an associate clinical professor at the IU School of Medicine and has a special interest in exercise injuries.
Board certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Vucescu is board certified in internal medicine. She completed her medical internship at Yale Hospital-Saint-Raphael in Connecticut and completed her internal medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente in California where she was selected to serve as the Chief Resident. After her chief residency, she practiced at Kaiser as an inpatient hospital medicine specialist. Dr. Vucescu has a special interest in preventive medicine and geriatrics.

Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Susan Lee has been a nurse practitioner for over 20 years. She received her doctorate in nursing practice from George Washington University in 2012. Ms. Lee is part-time clinical faculty at the Indiana University School of Nursing. She is Charter Board of Director of the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana and certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has a special interest in preventative care.
Christine is a Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2015 and Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. For the past 12 years, she has been a pediatric registered nurse with Riley Physicians at IU Health in Bloomington caring for children of all ages during both well and sick visits. Her clinical focus over the last year has been primary care of the family. Christine is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana.
She and her husband Jon have 3 young daughters. She enjoys running, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
