Naomi Pickholtz, PhD


Dr. Naomi Pickholtz received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. She completed a yearlong post-doctoral psychology fellowship at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. She is an assistant professor at University of Indianapolis. In her free time, Dr. Pickholtz is a yoga instructor.

 

Jason Simmonds, MD

Board certified Pediatrics

Dr. Simmonds is a native of Ellettsville and graduated from Edgewood High School in 1992. He then went on to get degrees at Indiana University-Bloomington (1996) and the IU School of Medicine (2001). He completed his pediatric residency training at the IU School of Medicine/Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health in Indianapolis in 2004. He practiced at Associated Physicians & Surgeons in Terre Haute, Ind. for two and a half years before making the move back to his hometown.

Dr. Simmonds and his wife, Kristina, who is also an Ellettsville native, have one son, Evan. In his spare time, he enjoys watching, and often coaching, his son's sports teams, attending IU basketball and football games, and playing the occasional pick-up basketball game.
 

Jill Troilo, MD

Board certified Pediatrics

Dr. Troilo grew up in Maryland and in various cities in Alaska. She attended medical school at East Tennessee State University. After completing her residency at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., Dr. Troilo served in Clarksville, TN before moving to Bloomington with her husband. Dr. Troilo is a board certified pediatrician and is particularly interested in pediatric education and training.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading a variety of books and novels, as well as watching and discussing film.

John Wrasse, MD

Board certified Pediatrics

Dr. Wrasse was born in Lincoln, Neb. After college, Dr. Wrasse moved to Bloomington where he met and married his wife Lisa. After working several years with students at Indiana University, Dr. Wrasse became a student again himself, graduating from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2005. he completed his pediatric residency at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital in 2008.

Dr. Wrasse and his wife have two daughters, Anna and Lucy, both adopted from China. Dr. Wrasse enjoys spending time with his family, bicycle riding (with helmets. of course!), hiking, and canoeing.
