Students

Injuries happen. Often, they happen at an inconvenient time or place. Fortunately, we work closely with Indiana University to ensure that two common goals are met. First, we want you healed. Second, we want you in back in class.

Sometimes, the nature of an injury requires surgical treatment that cannot wait for a convenient time. In these instances, we will work around your class schedule as best as possible to minimize disruption to your education.

Parents, we are committed to taking care of your child and communicate directly with you. If your child gives us permission and requests that we do so, we will gladly call you to discuss their injury and care. For emergent care, please call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room. If you have an orthopedic injury, request a surgeon from Orthopedics of Southern Indiana. We have physicians available at IU Health Bloomington Hospital 24/7/365.

For non-emergent care, students can be seen at our office (located next to College Mall) or at the IU Student Health Center, where our sports medicine specialists are available.  Dr. Steiner is available on Mondays, and Dr. Reeves is available on Wednesdays.
