At Indiana University Health Neuroscience, we link knowledge, compassion and the latest technologies to provide a comprehensive scope of neurological services to patients of all ages. We treat common and complex disorders of the central nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles.

As one of the largest neuroscience programs in the country, IU Health Neuroscience was ranked 33rd in the nation, and is Indiana's only neuroscience program ranked in U.S.News & World Report . And many of our experts have been recognized by regional and national organizations for their excellence in patient care and research.

We provide Indiana's most comprehensive neurology program, specializing in:

  • Movement disorders including Parkinson's disease

Our epilepsy program is Indiana's only program to be designated as a Level IV Specialized Epilepsy Center by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers. We provide monitoring at three IU Health hospitals.

In addition, IU Health Neuroscience has been designated as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission. This designation indicates we have the resources to provide the most comprehensive treatment for all forms of stroke.

IU Health Neuroscience is also proud to be a partner with the IU Health Proton Therapy Center in Bloomington, Indiana. Only nine such proton therapy centers exist in the United States. These centers offer patients suffering from brain tumors, other neurological conditions and many other types of cancer pinpoint accuracy in precisely targeting a tumor.
