According to data recently released by the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN), Indiana University Health Transplant is among the top in the nation based on number of organ transplant procedures performed in 2011.
Our intestine, pancreas, and pancreas/kidney transplant programs are ranked number one in the U.S. by volume. And overall, IU Health ranks in the top 2 percent for total number of organs transplanted in 2011.
