Cancer Support & Education

IU Health West Hospital offers a number of Cancer Support & Education opportunities for patients coping with cancer, as well as their loved ones and caregivers - regardless of whether they are receiving treatment at IU Health West Hospital.

Homemade for Health Brochure

A comprehensive publication on healthy eating, the Homemade for Health brochure helps patients learn more about eating to lower cancer risk, as well as the keys to an overall healthy diet.

Preventive Screening Program

The Cancer Center at Indiana University Health West Hospital provides a number of preventive screening oppotunities in order to detect a variety of cancers while they are in the early stages. Many of these screenings are conducted at community events as well as within our hospital facilities.

Summary results for 2013 are now available. Preventive screenings for 2014 are still in the process of being planned, so be sure to check the Events Calendar regularly to learn more about community outreach and screening opportunities available at IU Health West Hospital.

Survivorship Programs

The Cancer Center at IU Health West Hospital offers a number of opportunities for survivors to celebrate their survivorship, and get involved in our programming.
