Make Your Stay Easier

Convenient Services & Amenities

At Indiana University Health West Hospital, our goal is to do everything we can to make you and your guests feel safe and comfortable while you are in our care. Below are some of the many services available to you and your family during your stay.

Our team of guest relations representatives and hospital volunteers will be happy to get you a wheelchair when you arrive at the hospital. Please ask any of our caregivers for assistance or visit the nearest Welcome Desk.

Places to Eat in the Hospital

We know that good nutrition helps heal the body, so there are a variety of dining options available for patients, families and guests at IU Health West Hospital.

The Garden Café
Full selection of meals, featuring healthy options.
Located on the Garden Level (“G” on all hospital elevators).
Open Monday through Friday, 6:45 am – 11:30 pm
Open Saturday and Sunday, 7 am – 2 pm

Room Service

With IU Health West Hospital’s room service, patients can choose daily what and when they want to eat. You may order meals from a menu that includes many delicious and healthy choices, all freshly prepared by IU Health West chefs.

Similar to hotel room service, you choose from a menu and then call 317.217.3157. An operator places the order and confirms any diet restrictions. If your doctor changes your diet needs, the operator can check this information on the computer. Your meal is delivered directly to you, usually within 45 minutes of the order.

Family members and visitors may also order a guest meal tray. They can buy a guest tray ticket (or multiple tickets) from the cashier in the Garden Café, and then they are welcome to call in meal orders. Our room service ambassadors will deliver it to your room.
