Patient Rooms

Patient rooms were built with a family-oriented, relationship-centered care concept in mind. Indiana University Health West Hospital's private patient rooms are spacious, and include armchairs that fold out for loved ones staying through the night. The spaciousness of the rooms, combined with the overall layout, enables patients, their loved ones and IU Health West Hospital's team of caregivers to peacefully co-exist in patient care areas.

For times when patients require some quiet time or privacy, or when family members wish to gather away from the bedside, IU Health West Hospital's warm, home-like waiting "nooks" or family waiting areas are available throughout the hospital.
