When you receive healthcare services at Indiana University Health West, you have the benefit of our extraordinary team of hospitalists, whose goal it is to ensure your patient care experience is as seamless as possible.
IU Health West has several full-time hospitalists on staff who partner with both our adult and pediatric patients - and their physicians - to provide a well-rounded, coordinated approach to patient care.
Our hospitalists are available to see patients throughout their stay at IU Health West - from the moment of admission to discharge - and will also assist in coordinating any necessary follow-up outpatient testing.
They ensure both patients and loved ones are kept apprised of updates throughout a patient's stay, and collaborate with departments across the hospital to ensure thorough, quality patient care that is second to none.
IU Health West also offers pediatric hospitalist services. A pediatric hospitalist further specializes in the care of newborns and hospitalized children.
