Pediatrics hospitalists do not have a practice outside of the hospital, so their entire focus is on the care and treatment of your child during their inpatient stay. The hospitalsts provide regular updates to your child’s pediatrician or primary care physician to assure a smooth transition once they are released from the hospital.
