Classes and Programs
IU Health White Memorial Hospital offers a wide variety of classes and programs for the staff of the hospital and residents of Monticello and surrounding communities.
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)
The Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course is a two-day program designed to advance the knowledge and skills necessary to care for pediatric patients with emergency situations. This nationally recognized program has been highly recommended for nurses who care for children.
Verification is issued from the Emergency Nurses Association upon successful completion of the course. Verification remains current for four years. Classes are held at IU Health White Memorial Hospital in the Hibner Conference Room.
Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B) Class
Emergency Medical Technician - Basic is a growing career. Jobs are opening in many companies including emergency rooms, transfer services and fire departments. Clinical hours are held at the Monticello Fire Department and the IU Health White Memorial Hospital Emergency Department.
