Surgery

The surgeons at Indiana University Health have experience in performing every type of surgery, including general surgery, trauma surgery, orthopedic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery and transplant surgery.

At Indiana University Health White Memorial Hospital, local and visiting surgeons perform a variety of surgical procedures. We offer the latest surgical techniques, including minimally invasive surgery and endoscopic and laparoscopic surgical approaches. Minimally invasive surgery provides many benefits including less pain, shorter recovery time and a faster return to daily activities.

Our surgical staff offers a personal approach to care, from the time of scheduling to your release from the hospital. We review your health information and educate you on any special instructions.

Through our partnership with the Indiana University School of Medicine, one of the largest medical schools in the country, we have access to training programs and advanced research that bring the latest surgical advancements straight to our patients.
