Michael Harlowe

President, IU Health Saxony & IU Health Tipton Hospitals

Mike Harlowe served as president of IU Health Tipton Hospital before also adding IU Health Saxony Hospital to his scope of leadership in July 2016. During his tenure at IU Health Tipton Hospital—and now at IU Health Saxony Hospital—he has played a key role in facilitating collaborative relationships between community leaders, across hospital disciplines and even with the IU Health system.

Prior to joining IU Health, Harlowe served as vice president of operations at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany, Indiana, and vice president of professional and support services at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.

Doug Puckett

Indianapolis Suburban Region President

Indianapolis Suburban Region President, Doug Puckett, most recently served as president of Indiana University Health West Hospital. In his regional role, Puckett now leads existing teams across the north and west suburban areas, with strategic development in the eastern and southern suburbs in his purview. Puckett spent eight years as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at IU Health West before joining IU Health Morgan Hospital in Martinsville, IN, as president in 2012. During his three years at Morgan, Puckett led the team through its integration with the IU Health system and its transformation to an outpatient center with a focus on diagnostics, emergency care and wellness services. He returned to IU Health West Hospital as president in 2015.

Indianapolis Suburban Region Chief Financial Officer

Cara Breidster most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for the West Central Region. She has been with IU Health since 2005 and previously served as vice president, finance and corporate controller. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor of science in accounting. Cara has a wealth of knowledge in healthcare accounting and finance, having spent seventeen years at Ernst and Young, LLP specializing in healthcare and tax consulting.

Randall Yust

Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer, IU Health North Central Region

Randall Yust has 30 years' experience in healthcare finance and operations, serving previously at La Porte Regional Health System in La Porte, Indiana, in the roles of interim president and chief executive officer in late 2004 and as vice president of finance and chief financial officer prior to that. For 13 years—1985 to 1998—Yust served as vice president and chief financial officer for Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso, and from 1975 to 1985, Yust served Community Hospital of Anderson, Indiana, ending his time there as acting chief financial officer. Yust has excelled throughout his career with notable business development and financial success at the hospitals he has served.

Tamarah Brownlee, MPH

Indianapolis Suburban Region Vice President, Human Resources

Tamarah Brownlee joined Indiana University Health as Vice President of Human Resources for IU Health West Hospital in June 2017. Brownlee leads the broad spectrum of key HR service functions in the region, including recruitment, training and retention of excellent team members, and employee relations. She also serves as a key partner to the regional leadership teams in creating and executing action plans to improve the employment experience.

Brownlee comes to IU Health from Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), where she served as executive director of Human Resources and the Office of Institutional Equity. At IPFW, Brownlee streamlined services, redesigned the HR team to be more strategically aligned with the University mission and increased operational outcomes. Prior to joining IPFW, she served in HR leadership roles at Parkview Health and Target Corporation.

Brownlee received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University.
