Community Outreach
Our residents serve the community through a variety of volunteer activities, including:
- Tar Wars (smoking prevention) presentations at local schools
- Puberty & Development talks at local elementary schools
- Health Fairs—children and adult
- Team physicians for local high school sports teams
- On-site physicians for sporting events such as the Muncie Ironman 70.3 and Y-Triathlon
- Breast and prostate cancer monthly screenings
- Asthma support group
- Diabetes support group
- Head Start physicals
- Career Day Presentations at local schools
- Anti-Drug Presentations at local schools for Red Ribbon Week
- Presentations on various health topics at schools and churches
- Sports and school physicals

Residents are required to perform community service during their residency as outlined below:
- PGY1—5 hours
- PGY2—10 hours
- PGY3—15 hours
