Bloombuild Philanthropy

Philanthropy

Philanthropy plays a key role in shaping the new Regional Academic Health Center in Bloomington, a partnership between IU Health Bloomington and Indiana University. The Indiana University Health Foundation is leading the fundraising for this new project. Chances are you may have seen our “Local Stays Local” print ads or heard us on the radio reminding Hoosiers, when you give to the IU Health Foundation, your generosity helps your very own family, friends, and neighbors. IU Health patients can thank you for thinking of Bloomington first.

The Foundation’s mission is to increase the role of philanthropy to help IU Health achieve its goal of helping Hoosiers in Bloomington, the South Central region and the entire state become among the healthiest in the nation.

As a destination for healing, learning, fitness and wellness, the new medical campus in Bloomington intersects perfectly with the Foundation’s mission. It will allow IU Health to build on the care our team members are already providing, and allow even more people to thrive in an environment of compassion, communication and collaboration.

It expands our ability to deliver inpatient and outpatient services, meets the growing need for emergency and trauma services, and educates university students studying various health science disciplines.

If you have questions, please contact Diane Buzzell at 812.353.9567 or by email. Thank you for supporting this project for our community.
