Hoosier Health Series: Addressing infant mortality through the Racial Equity in Healthcare Fund
In the spirit of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, learn more about IU Health’s pledge to support racial justice and equity. This virtual event will include a panel discussion, moderated by Marya Jones, director of planned giving for the Foundation and featuring three leaders representing the Foundation, IU Health and Riley Children’s Health, including:
- Lisa Gutierrez, IU Health VP and chief diversity and inclusion officer
- Marissa Kiefer, Riley Children’s Health VP of strategy, leading Riley’s efforts to reduce infant mortality
- Crystal Miller, IU Health chief philanthropy officer and IU Health Foundation president
Attendees will learn about the IU Health Foundation Racial Equity in Healthcare Fund, explore a unique model to reduce infant mortality that will soon be coming to Indianapolis, and gain an appreciation for the donors, community partners and IU Health leaders who are invested in this work.
This interactive event will last about 45 minutes and include a Q&A.. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions.
