Biography

Dr. Ryan Stewart is a fellowship trained pelvic surgeon specializing in the treatment of patients with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and pelvic floor dysfunction. He completed medical school at the Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Indiana University. He then completed his subspecialty fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of Louisville.

He splits his work time equally between the office and the operating room; helping patients with a wide array of pelvic floor and urogynecologic disorders including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, vaginal fistulas, vaginal mesh complications, and the genitourinary syndrome of menopause.

At home, he likes to spend time cooking, gardening, tending to backyard chickens, and playing LEGO with his wife and son. He’s an avid reader, chronic tinkerer, sometimes woodworker, occasional entrepreneur, and hobbyist computer programmer.
