Kerry M. White is a Neurodevelopmental Genetic Counselor. She was born and raised in the great state of Texas and became a Hoosier in 2000 after graduating from Virginia Tech. In 2002, she earned a master’s degree in medical and molecular Genetics at Indiana University.

Early in her career, Kerry worked in various specialties. They included Huntington disease research, general pediatrics, maternal fetal medicine and urology. Since 2019, she originated the genetic counseling position in the Division of Developmental Medicine. She has identified a need for patient care based on a rapidly evolving landscape of rare genetic disease in neurodevelopment and engaged a group of qualified passionate professionals with a cohesive vision. The program continues to evolve, and Kerry is working to share what the team has learned with other groups. Her experience with her own children with neurodevelopmental differences gives Kerry the insight and motivation to connect with families and push the field forward.
