Biography

Dr. Suri is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, focused on taking care of a myriad of eye disorders including cataracts, diabetic eye exams, and medically managed glaucoma. She chose ophthalmology as a career specialty as it offers opportunities to interact with patients in various health settings; in the outpatient clinic, in the operating room, and also in the hospital as a specialty consultant. Her practice philosophy is that of service and excellence in patient-centered delivery of care. She takes a lot of pride in knowing all that she can about her patients and getting to know their goals and expectations to arrive upon a shared decision. She was a trained, board-certified ophthalmologist from a premier academic institution in India, prior to moving to the United States and retrained in ophthalmology to become eligible to practice here. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.
