Biography
Dr. Matt Noyes is a board-certified, fellowship orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and upper extremity surgeries. He received his medical degree at University of Toledo and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Wright State University. After residency, Dr. Noyes completed fellowship training in shoulder and elbow replacement/reconstruction at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and at the Oregon Shoulder Institute, focusing on advanced shoulder arthroscopy procedures.
Within the Fort Wayne area, Dr. Noyes is the only orthopedic surgeon nominated to be a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society. He has over 25 manuscripts/book chapters published in the field of upper extremity surgery and is a clinical faculty member at Indiana University Fort Wayne College of Medicine. In college, Dr. Noyes played rugby for The Ohio State University and received a bachelor's degree in physical therapy, in which he practiced two years before attending medical school.
