Dr. Ferguson has practiced medicine since 1967. He developed an interest in family medicine early in his career when he served with the United States Public Health Service in a remote Eskimo village in Alaska. It was then he knew that he wanted to deliver the full spectrum of care to his patients.
Dr. Ferguson’s philosophy of care includes the mind, body and spirit. He encourages patients to take control of their own health with his assistance and guidance. For the past 26 years, Dr. Ferguson has taught medical students and family practice residents. He is passionate about helping children who have learning challenges and in assisting patients who participate in self-destructive behavior.
In his spare time, Dr. Ferguson enjoys walking in the woods, boating and travel.
