Biography
Dr. Ramshesh joined IU Health as the oncology medical director after working as a medical director at a community hospital in Houston, Texas. She treats a variety of conditions in hematology and oncology, both benign and malignant. She finds this field very challenging yet extremely rewarding. Dr. Ramshesh takes pride in treating her patients as family and is very committed to both pre and post survivorship in their cancer journey.
Dr. Ramshesh earned her medical degree from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India. Her internal medicine residency program was completed at King Edward Memorial Hospital in India, followed by a residency program at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and a fellowship in Hematology Oncology at Louisiana State University. In June 2022, Dr. Ramshesh earned her Masters of Health Administration from George Washington University. She is a diplomate in internal medicine, hematology and oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
