Biography
Dr. Large is a urologist with IU Health. He chose to practice urology because he felt compelled to help improve the quality of life for many individuals suffering from kidney stones or lower urinary tract symptoms.
Dr. Large published the first experience of a successful stone surgery without the use of opioids for postoperative pain control in the U.S. As a result, IU Health Urology has now transitioned to narcotic-free surgeries for all appropriate non-cancerous surgeries. In his free time, Dr. Large enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, hiking and traveling.
