Dr. Chan is originally from Vancouver, Canada. It was as a teenager that she knew she wanted to become a pediatrician, after becoming a pediatric patient herself.

While still in Canada, she completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science at Simon Fraser University. She then attended Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean, and finished her 3rd and 4th year medical school rotations throughout the United States. From 2017-2020 she completed her pediatric residency training at Hurley Children’s in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Chan currently lives in Bloomington with her husband and new corgi puppy.
