INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana University Health announced it has been selected to participate in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Next Generation Accountable Care Organization (NGACO) Model beginning Jan. 1, 2017. IU Health has chosen to participate in the Next Generation ACO Model because it supports the vision of being a leader in transforming healthcare through quality, innovation and education.
Through the NGACO Model, Indiana University Health ACO will work with CMS to provide traditional Medicare beneficiaries with high quality service and care, while reducing the growth in Medicare expenditures through enhanced care coordination.
