A special message from Dennis Murphy, President of IU Health

We are IU Health

June 04, 2020

To You, Our Valued Patients:

At this time, I know that many of us are hurt, upset, angry, and even in despair. Let’s extend the power of love to each other and let’s stand together. That we all say “no” to hate and injustice and cruelty wherever it manifests itself. Please know that at IU Health we are committed, as individuals and as an organization, to treating every person with the dignity and respect that all human beings deserve. We believe IU Health is a place where we can start to make a difference.

We are committed to always providing excellent and compassionate care to all the patients we care for, but we also know there’s more we can do to address health disparities in our communities, and we are working on doing so.

We are also committed to making care safe and accessible when you need it. The stress and anxiety of today’s world can take a toll on us. Therefore, it’s important to remember that we still need to take care of ourselves and take time for our mental and physical health.

FAQs from our patients about making appointments and safely accessing care
