Crystal Miller, chief philanthropy officer of Indiana University Health, announced that Rev 2019, held on May 4 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, raised $600,000. More than $3 million has been raised in the six-year history of Rev, one of Indianapolis’ top annual fundraising events.
Rev is the signature event for IU Health Foundation, which leverages the power of philanthropy to support the IU Health goal of making Indiana healthier. Rev proceeds this year are supporting IU Health trauma and critical care programs statewide. Past Rev-funded efforts have provided outpatient resources and injury prevention initiatives; trauma education and training for prehospital providers, physicians, advance practice providers and nurses; and performance improvement tracking for trauma care at all IU Health facilities.
More than 3,100 people attended Rev 2019, which was a sellout. Rev 2020 is scheduled for May 2, and tickets go on sale in December. Mark your calendar to check revindy.org.
