Spiritual care for patients, family, friends and care providers

We are IU Health

April 14, 2020

The IU Health Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care team provides support for persons of all faiths and of no particular faith tradition. It has established a new, dedicated telephone line for patients in isolation at any IU Health hospital and for their loved ones who are distressed that they cannot visit in person. That number is 317.962.8612. A chaplain monitors this line 24/7.

IU Health team members can request a chaplain to visit a patient or provide spiritual support to family, friends and care team members by calling the facility’s chaplaincy office, or after hours, the hospital’s operator.

Chaplains are available 24/7; virtual options are also available.
