IU Health Arnett donates masks to local food banks

Indiana University Health Arnett is donating masks to local food banks to help improve the safety and health of Hoosiers during the pandemic. Until an effective vaccine or treatment for COVID-19 is approved, we have few tools available to prevent more people from catching this highly infectious disease. Our greatest defense against COVID-19 is to wear a mask, practice social distancing and washing hands often. These same precautions will also help limit the spread of the flu virus.

IU Health masks were donated to:

  • Food Finders Food Bank
  • Connection Point Church
  • Evangelical Covenant Church
  • Salvation Army

Remember wearing a mask in public can save lives. And not just your life, but the lives of your family, your friends and the people in your community. Let’s all keep the Hoosier kindness and generosity alive and well by wearing a mask in public.

Wear because you care.
