TIPTON, Ind. – Indiana University Health Tipton Hospital understands the need for a local COVID-19 testing site to provide easier access for our community members. In partnership with the Tipton County Health Department we will have a local drive-thru testing site available at the hospital by appointment only, effective September 8.
Patients experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms (including but not limited to new cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea or muscle aches) or individuals that have been directly exposed to the virus should complete a COVID-19 screening through their health care provider or the free IU Health Virtual Screening Clinic. The Virtual Screening Clinic is staffed 24/7 with IU Health physicians, advance practice providers and registered nurses who will screen patients from home, potentially eliminating the need to visit physician offices, urgent cares or emergency departments.
