Patient's daughter donates bell to Lafayette IU Health Cancer Center

When Jack Connaughton finished his last radiation treatment at the IU Health Cancer Center in Lafayette he left the doctor's office without fanfare. His daughter, Stacey, saw that as an opportunity to gift the center a bell, which in the oncology world, symbolizes the completion of one's cancer journey. "I asked the [IU Health Foundation] is there anything the foundation would like at the Lafayette Cancer Center that we don't currently have. I'd like to say thank you. That's when the idea of the bell came about."
