Feel like you again
Find the support you need to return to doing what you enjoy.
Everybody has days when they feel “blue,” anxious, unfocused or just plain stressed out. For most people, those feelings go away after a short period of time. However, when such feelings persist to the point that they interfere with day-to-day life, it’s time to consider professional help. Indiana University Health Behavioral Health offers services for everyone from children to older adults and care that is available in offices conveniently located around the state.
We offer a wide range of services designed to support patients with behavioral, psychiatric and psychological needs, all to ensure each patient’s total well-being. We provide many options to best treat a wide range of mental health diagnoses. Our services include, but are not limited to:
Inpatient services are available for children, adolescents and adults of all ages seeking intensive treatment for their mental health. Diagnostic services are available, if needed, as well as individual treatment plans. Inpatient treatments are available for many conditions, including depression, behavioral problems, psychosis, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
Partial Hospitalization Program
For patients seeking intensive treatment, but who are able to function outside of the inpatient structure, our partial hospitalization program provides a balance between structure and independence. Process group therapy serves as the foundation of this program that is available for children, adolescents and adults.
Individuals who can function independently but need help dealing with personal issues and problems can benefit from outpatient, individual therapy. Patients seeking help for mood and anxiety disorders may choose individual therapy as a way to work through the difficult things in their life and learn tools that can help them move forward.
Patients may choose or be referred to group counseling as a way to work through their problems and learn from others experiencing similar situations. IU Health offers facilitated group counseling for people seeking help and support for a wide range of topics. Whether a patient is seeking group counseling for parental support or to help them cope with their bipolar disorder, IU Health helps our patients regain enjoyment of their life.
We offer specialized, comprehensive treatment for a wide range of conditions and disorders. People suffering from anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, depression, chemical dependency, or memory and cognitive issues can find options for treatment at one of IU Health’s locations.
