IU Health Rehabilitation offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to help patients overcome disability or limitation from injury, overuse, disease, stroke, chronic pain and/or surgery. Our staff focuses on treating the whole patient- mind, body and spirit- not just the injury. Our individually tailored programs address prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of injury, illness and disease.

  • Physical Therapy

    Physical therapy services are designed to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent disabilities while restoring, maintaining and promoting overall fitness and health. Physical therapy services can help restore mobility and functions loss that affect a patient’s daily living and work activates. Mobility and function loss may be due to sports injury, birth defect, neurological trauma, repetitive motion, joint deterioration and other illnesses or injuries.

  • Occupational Therapy

    Occupational therapy services are designed to enable patients to return to their daily living activities to live more independent, productive lives. Occupational therapy services provide assessment and treatment to help restore patients back to normal, functioning lifestyles by regaining mobility and function in day to day activities such as bathing, dressing, cooking, driving, work and leisure activities.

  • Speech and Language Therapy

    Speech and language therapy services specialize in management of communication and swallowing disorders for patients of all ages. Speech and language therapy services help individuals with difficulties that may be a result of injury or change in medical status that decrease their ability to effectively communicate their thoughts and needs. Comprehensive evaluations and innovative treatments are provided to manage swallowing and eating functions, speech and language disorders, vocal quality, comprehension and cognition.
