Traditional Curriculum with Flexibility
Our curriculum encompasses the traditional requirements set forth by the ACGME, as well as, allowing flexibility to personalize the educational experience for each resident. Each resident meets with his or her advisor during his or her intern year to discuss overall goals and desires during residency and beyond. Residents may choose to follow a traditional curriculum with a variety of electives or may focus their electives on one area of interest based on the established track systems. The optional track templates offer a guide for residents to follow, which allows a concentrated interest in one aspect of Family Medicine such as sports medicine or obstetrics. Currently we offer seven optional tracks in addition to the traditional curriculum.
